Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document observations and report concerns to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout building interiors, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and common areas to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance, lighting, or access control issues.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license (required for driving positions).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in customer service.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet for reporting and scheduling.
