Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout airport terminals, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones
• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by assisting with inquiries and giving directions
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity to deter unwanted activity
• Document security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues according to site protocols
• Support orderly operations by following post orders related to restricted areas and emergency notifications

Requirements

• Must be at least 20 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic computer knowledge and comfort using a computer or tablet
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs

• Previous customer service experience
