Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to prevent theft, disruptions, or unauthorized access.
• Document observations and communicate suspicious activity or incidents to store leadership and emergency responders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a guard card or security license.
• Experience with alarm panels.
• Experience with access control or badge systems.
• Previous customer service experience.
