Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and access control practices.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and enforce site rules regarding restricted areas and deliveries.
• Support emergency response by assisting with de-escalation and coordination during medical, fire, or weather events.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Armed guard card or license.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience, OR 2+ years of security supervisor experience, OR 3+ years of security experience.
• Must possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, or a police/corrections academy certificate.
