Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access protocols.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, or critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and complete incident reports to support daily operations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet for reporting.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license.
