Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access and support visitor processing.
• Communicate effectively with staff, visitors, and first responders while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in customer service.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security-related license.
