Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, or critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, supporting badge and entry procedures.
• Communicate with site contacts regarding security-related issues or operational needs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a guard card or security license.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Experience with alarm panels.
