Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors through access control and credential verification
• Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location to deter unauthorized access
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility perimeter, including gates, fencing, and restricted areas
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Document security-related events, access concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures
• Communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, vendor arrivals, and operational disruptions

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
