Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at financial institution locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, verifying credentials and reporting suspicious behavior.
• Support opening and closing activities and observe ATM and cash-handling areas from assigned posts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet for reporting.
