Security Officer Access Screening Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific screening procedures and access protocols.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and personal items entering or leaving the facility in accordance with security policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or shipping documentation, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document all observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency using a computer or tablet.
• Previous experience in access control or badge management.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Valid guard card or security license.
