Security Officer Access Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by managing front desk activities and following site-specific policies
• Monitor access to the residential location by verifying visitors, checking credentials, and maintaining visitor logs
• Report unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate contacts and support emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide directions or general assistance
• Complete required reports, document daily activities, and relay important information during shift changes

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Computer literacy and comfort using a computer or tablet

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with access control or badge systems
• Prior experience in a customer service-oriented role
