Security Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead all physical security operations for Cape Canaveral and Port Canaveral facilities
• Develop and implement site-specific security strategies and maintain security plans
• Conduct periodic security risk assessments and vulnerability reviews
• Manage contracted security service providers and guard force personnel
• Oversee operation and maintenance of access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems
• Serve as primary security liaison with DoD, law enforcement, and port authorities
• Lead investigations involving security violations, theft, or unauthorized access
• Support site emergency preparedness and response planning
• Develop and deliver security awareness training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in physical security, law enforcement, or military security
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing security personnel or programs
• Experience managing contract guard force operations
• Experience with enterprise access control and video surveillance systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
• Valid state security officer license and driver's license
• Ability to hold and maintain a Federal DBIDS and a TWIC card
• Ability to work in outdoor, industrial, and marine environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, launch operations, or maritime industries
• Experience operating within federal or military environments
• Security certifications such as PSP, CPP, or ASIS certifications
• FEMA Incident Command certifications
• Secret security clearance or higher
