Security Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the security department to ensure the safety of guests, employees, artists, and the venue
• Manage, train, and supervise security staff for efficient day-of-show operations
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions through regular patrols
• Investigate and resolve security complaints while interacting positively with guests
• Write detailed reports regarding daily activities, irregularities, or property damage
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Assist with venue closing procedures, including the collection of recyclables and storage of event equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a similar security management role
• Must obtain and maintain a Tennessee Unarmed Security Guard Registration (Guard Card) prior to employment
• Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including constant walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying 50 lbs.+
