Security Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations across office facilities, restricted areas, and organizational grounds
• Lead, supervise, and mentor the security team to ensure high performance and accountability
• Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans for fire, medical, and natural disasters
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and lead emergency preparedness training initiatives
• Act as the primary liaison with local police, municipal authorities, and government agencies in India
• Manage security technology infrastructure, including CCTV systems and access control platforms
• Ensure full compliance with Indian security regulations and local law enforcement standards
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and train employees on incident reporting protocols

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in security operations management
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing security teams
• Strong understanding of Indian security regulations and local law enforcement protocols
• Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning
• Proficiency with access control systems, CCTV technology, and security management software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Security certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
• Experience in corporate office environments or large-scale organizational facilities
• Knowledge of vendor and contractor management for security services
• Experience with security audits and compliance assessments
• Familiarity with Indian labor laws and workplace safety regulations
