Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Document incoming truck drivers including name, trailer numbers, and weight
• Obtain manifest numbers and complete receiving reports
• Direct drivers and visitors to appropriate site locations
• Track all vehicles and visitors entering the premises
• Log employee entry and departure times at gate entrances
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure security provisions are followed
• Set alarm systems at designated times
• Alert personnel of emergency situations such as utility problems or fires

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Good verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with an emphasis in law enforcement
• 1 to 2 years of prior experience in a related security position
