About the role
Responsibilities
- Patrol, monitor and secure Hospital property
- Protect patients, staff and visitors
- Investigate all forms of property loss, theft and damage
- Respond to emergency codes and calls for assistance
- Enforce Hospital parking regulations
- Perform cross functional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Completion of Grade XII or recognized equivalent
- Law Enforcement/Law Security diploma from a recognized institution
- Current & Valid Security License in Ontario
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Minimum five years recent security experience
- Ability to work shifts on short notice
Preferred Qualifications
- Crisis Intervention certificate
- Certification in Legal Awareness and Use of Force
- Certification in Tactical Communications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification
