Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, and parking areas
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and potential hazards such as spills or unsecured areas
• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by following security procedures and site policies
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, or critical situations in a calm and professional manner
• Assist with access control, closing procedures, and crowd management during busy periods or special events

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen
• Ability to obtain state or local security licensing if required by law
