Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises regularly to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment
• Control facility access by verifying visitors, contractors, and deliveries
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, accidents, or suspicious activities
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
• Conduct opening and closing security checks to ensure all entry points are secure
• Assist with emergency evacuations and follow established response procedures
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
• Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills for report writing and monitoring systems
