Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the facility
• Monitor and control access points for tenants, visitors, and contractors
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations in a timely manner
• Operate and monitor CCTV and access control systems
• Write clear and detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining security protocols
• Liaise with emergency services and building management when required
• Identify and report safety hazards, vandalism, or unsecured property
• Maintain professionalism and situational awareness within a high-profile environment

Requirements

• Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
• Standard First Aid & CPR Certification
• Ability to successfully pass enhanced background screening
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a corporate environment
• Legal authorization to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security experience in corporate, government, or high-profile environments
• Experience working with CCTV and access control systems
• Customer service experience in professional environments
