Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage across multiple client sites as assigned
• Conduct proactive and reactive patrols to maintain site safety and security
• Respond to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security incidents
• Deliver exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and the public
• Apply Use of Force techniques or restraints when required and authorized
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation
• Monitor access control points and surveillance systems
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Ontario G2 or G Driver's License
• Reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to meet N95 Mask Fit Test requirements (must be clean-shaven)
• Proof of at least two COVID-19 vaccine doses
• Ability to obtain healthcare site clearances (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, TB Skin Test)
• Willingness to obtain Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid & CPR Level C

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Ontario Security Guard License
• Current First Aid & CPR Level C certification
• Previous healthcare or security experience
• Experience writing detailed incident reports
• Experience in mobile security environments
