Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline security, customer service, and access control at designated health facility areas
• Protect patients, staff, and occupants in accordance with site security requirements
• Monitor access control points and advise occupants regarding restricted areas
• Perform patrolling, crowd control, and promote a proactive security culture
• Raise alarms for any identified health and safety considerations

Requirements

• Valid Victorian Security License
• Current Police Clearance
• Influenza Vaccine
• Availability for on-call shifts, including early mornings, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Effective communication skills to interact with hospital staff and patients
• Previous experience in a healthcare security role is highly desirable
• A positive attitude and willingness to train across various hospital departments
