Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to protect company people and assets
• Manage access control and monitor video management systems (VMS)
• Perform investigations and maintain detailed report writing
• Provide medical escorts and emergency response assistance
• Support loss prevention, asset protection, and disciplinary/termination procedures
• Assist with automobile needs, payroll distribution, and inclement weather support
• Monitor time clock activities and ensure compliance with company policies

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid security officer registration
• Current First Aid/Basic Life Support (BLS) training
• Clean criminal record and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and remain on foot for extended periods
• Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office applications
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in security, military, or law enforcement
• Education or ongoing studies in Criminology or Criminal Justice
• Experience with Video Management Systems (VMS) and Access Control Systems
• Training in verbal judo, self-defense, handcuffing, or crowd management
