Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the corporate office, warehouse, parking areas, and restricted spaces
• Conduct regular patrols of all floors, stairwells, lobby areas, and exterior grounds
• Verify identification and issue visitor badges according to company procedures
• Monitor CCTV, fire alarm systems, and security monitoring platforms
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations
• Assist with evacuation procedures during emergencies, including fire and medical incidents
• Greet employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily security reports

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid state security license or ability to obtain one
• Strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring systems
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and climb stairs
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior security, law enforcement, military, or corporate security experience
• CPR/First Aid certification
