Responsibilities

• Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
• Enforcing the Trespass to Property Act
• Conducting bag checks as required
• Monitoring for threatening, fraudulent, or rude behaviors
• Escalating and assisting law enforcement as required
• Completing incident reports and required documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends (Friday and Saturday), and holidays
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to de-escalate and diffuse challenging situations
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience
• Familiarity with transportation yard operations or busy logistics environments
• Valid Use of Force Hand-cuffing Certification
