Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations
• Monitor entry and exit activity and verify credentials to deter unauthorized presence
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns and communicating with site personnel

Requirements

• New York State Security Guard License
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
