Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and members of the public.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, entry points, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, or critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Document observations and report security concerns through appropriate communication channels.
• Support staff during routine operations and emergency situations by following post instructions.

Requirements

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
