Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Secure all gates and buildings and patrol the premises
• Verify authorized individuals enter the property and provide directions
• Check gate passes and departing vehicles to prevent theft
• Greet customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
• De-escalate difficult situations
• Input vehicle information including VIN, mileage, and owner ID using handheld devices
• Verify VIN numbers against Bills of Lading
• Report irregularities such as fire hazards or unsecured doors
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs

Requirements

• 1-2 years of customer service experience
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Computer data entry skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to safely drive various vehicle makes and models
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
