Security Forces C4I Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complete C4I electronic systems, including Tactical Communication (TACOM), Intelligence, and ISRN systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, reconstitution inspections, and repairs to return equipment to serviceable condition.
• Manage accountability, security, and safe storage of all C4I equipment, radios, and electronic hardware.
• Conduct system testing to evaluate performance and functionality.
• Perform inventory and serial number checks to ensure equipment accountability.
• Prepare and inspect assets for shipment via air, sea, or surface transportation.
• Order necessary parts for mid-level repairs and coordinate with supervision.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of field experience as a C4I Senior Electronics Technician and/or Supervisor.
• Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of network and communications systems, including fiber cable testing and repair.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a host nation driver's license.
• Physical capability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in OCONUS environments, which may include remote locations and varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Extensive experience with cable/connector test equipment and electrical troubleshooting.
