Security Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of the SIEM platform, including architecture, log onboarding, and detection rule development
• Manage FortiGate firewall infrastructure, Cloudflare VPN, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
• Design and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies in alignment with CMMC and NIST 800-53
• Lead the buildout of EDR capabilities and automate security workflows using IaC and scripting
• Hire, mentor, and develop a growing team of security engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years in security engineering or DevSecOps with technical leadership experience
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and FortiGate administration
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and cloud environments (AWS GovCloud/Microsoft GCC)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status (ITAR compliance)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS clearance or higher
• Experience with Cloudflare Zero Trust or ZTNA
• Background in aerospace, defense, or regulated industries
