Security Engineering Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the design and build of end-to-end network security programs, including issue tracking, remediation, and intrusion prevention.
• Assist in integrating network security processes with other functions to develop hybrid controls for complex challenges.
• Address network security control deficiencies in a timely and pragmatic manner.
• Collaborate with security architects to develop architectural principles, policies, and requirements.
• Provide application security support to development teams, including vulnerability explanations and remediation guidance.
• Support the administration of security platforms, including scan configuration and access request approvals.
• Stay updated on attack intelligence by collaborating with Threat Vulnerability Management and Cyber Security Operations Center teams.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, information security, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Technical experience in cybersecurity, incident response, security operations, or insider threat.
• Knowledge of encryption engineering, network security, or PKI engineering.
• Experience with threat and vulnerability management (TVM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or Security+.
• Experience with cloud security solutions (AWS or Azure) and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages to automate security tasks.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or MITRE ATT&CK.
