Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor security best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
• Conduct security reviews, code analysis, and vulnerability assessments for AI/ML and web applications
• Design and enforce secure Identity & Access Management (IAM) and role-based access controls
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps practices and automated scanning
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and support threat detection and response
• Ensure adherence to global compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR
• Build scripts and tools in Python, Bash, or Go for security automation and continuous monitoring
• Partner with engineering and product teams to embed security by design in agentic AI systems

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud, application, or platform security
• Strong knowledge of cloud security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub) in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform)
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing tools
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for security automation
• Understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO, SOC 2, and GDPR

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience securing AI/ML pipelines, model inference endpoints, and data lakes
• Exposure to Zero Trust architectures and microservices security
• Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR tools like Splunk, ELK, or Sentinel
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or CCSK
