About the role
About the Company
We believe stablecoins are better money and will be the backbone of better payments. We are a small, scrappy team based in NYC, backed by $10M from a16z crypto and other partners, working to build a clearinghouse for the future of money.
Responsibilities
- Own security posture across application, infrastructure, and operational security
- Conduct code reviews, threat modeling, and penetration testing
- Design and implement security controls, monitoring, and incident response processes
- Establish security policies and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and PCI-DSS
- Hire and manage specialist contractors or future security hires
- Ship internal security tooling and features
- Embed security into the engineering development lifecycle
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering
- Experience at a payments company, bank, or regulated financial institution
- Experience with GCP and Terraform
- Ability to write production code and ship internal tools
- Experience building security programs at early-stage or high-growth companies
- Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or state money transmission compliance
- Based in New York City or willing to relocate
