About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the security posture for vessel programs from architecture through fielding
- Drive threat modeling across vessel subsystems including embedded compute and communications
- Navigate DoD cybersecurity authorization frameworks including RMF and CSRMC
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in product or systems security engineering
- Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity authorization processes (RMF, ATO/IATT)
- Experience with threat modeling and security architecture for cyber-physical or embedded systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a product security lead for a defense platform
- Direct experience engaging with government Authorizing Officials or program offices
- Familiarity with maritime-specific frameworks like IMO MASS Code or IEC 62443
