Security Engineer, Product

About the Company

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

Responsibilities

• Build security-focused application primitives and integrate them into existing products
• Design and deploy platform-level mitigations to common security issues
• Lead remediation of prioritized issues across the technology stack
• Collaborate with engineers to triage and fix vulnerabilities from internal discovery, penetration testing, and bug bounty programs
• Partner with engineering teams to design and deploy inherently secure solutions
• Champion the use of security tooling including linters, static analysis, and posture assessment scanners

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience building software
• Minimum of 2 years of experience focused on platform, infrastructure, and/or security
• Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and master your craft

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python (Flask), Elixir, and AWS (ECS)
• Experience analyzing and improving the security posture of infrastructure in AWS
