Security Engineer L3

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day security engineering activities, including configuration and maintenance of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection systems
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with infrastructure teams
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in a timely manner
• Maintain and tune SIEM rules, correlation policies, and dashboards to ensure accurate threat visibility
• Collaborate with IT, Network, and Cloud teams to ensure secure configuration and patch compliance
• Support audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments for regulatory and internal requirements
• Prepare and maintain security documentation, SOPs, and incident response playbooks
• Mentor junior engineers on routine security tasks and best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience in security engineering and managing enterprise security tools
• Expertise in configuring and maintaining firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems
• Strong proficiency in SIEM tool administration and rule tuning
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and managing incident response lifecycles
• Ability to support compliance and audit processes
• Strong collaborative skills to work across diverse technical teams
