Security Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability triage and proof-of-concept testing
• Support vendor security review processes and third-party risk assessments
• Assist with AI tool adoption assessments for security and privacy risk
• Execute a dedicated 10-week project designed to improve security at Freetrade
• Support ongoing security operations

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of offensive security, pentesting, or bug bounty practices
• Ability to write scripts or code, preferably in Python
• Solid understanding of core security concepts and principles
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools
• Experience participating in CTFs
