Security Engineer

Giga is building the next generation of customer experience through real-time AI agents that understand emotion and resolve issues instantly. Having recently raised a $61M Series A, Giga is scaling its voice superintelligence platform to serve the world's largest enterprises, including DoorDash.

Responsibilities

• Secure the platform end-to-end, from customer-facing APIs to real-time conversation systems
• Build role-based access controls, permissions models, and audit logging
• Develop security tooling and automation for vulnerability scanning, dependency auditing, and secrets management
• Partner with backend and infrastructure engineers to bake security into the system architecture
• Address unique AI security challenges such as prompt injection and data leakage

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering
• Strong software engineering foundation with ability to write production-quality code
• Experience securing production systems handling sensitive data
• Proficiency across application, infrastructure, and cloud security
• Experience with Python (Django/FastAPI) or TypeScript (Node.js)
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
