Security Engineer, Cloud

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

Responsibilities

• Drive the cloud security roadmap and review cloud deployments to identify improvements
• Design and build security-focused infrastructure primitives
• Integrate security into existing products and development processes
• Lead remediation of prioritized issues across the technology stack
• Partner with infrastructure, data, and devops teams to deploy inherently secure solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience building software
• Minimum 3 years of experience building in AWS with Terraform
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive projects from inception to production
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python (Flask) and Terraform
• Experience with Azure, GCP, or other cloud providers
• Experience improving developer experience and security properties of multi-service deployments
