Security Engineer

About the Company

Since 1959, Bankgirot has provided the technical structure connecting Sweden's banks in a national payment system. We are currently undergoing a major transformation to build the future of Sweden's most critical payment infrastructure.

Responsibilities

As a Security Engineer, you will work hands-on with the management and further development of security services in a technically complex and mission-critical environment. Depending on the specific role, responsibilities include:

• FortiSIEM/Splunk focus: Managing SIEM architecture, log management, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• EDR/NDR focus: Handling incident response, vulnerability management, and endpoint/network detection.
• PKI/HSM focus: Managing certificate lifecycles, PKI concepts, and encryption solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in the operation, management, or development of security solutions.
• Technical curiosity and a deep understanding of how solutions function.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to undergo a security clearance in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk Enterprise or FortiSIEM.
• Experience with EDR solutions like SentinelOne or NDR solutions like Vectra.
• Experience with EJBCA, PKI, or HSM solutions.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or government agencies.
