About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop AI-powered detection tooling to accelerate detection creation and tuning
- Conduct security research analyzing cloud, identity, and SaaS data sources
- Perform authorized attack simulations to validate detection coverage
- Proactively hunt for threats across customer environments
- Investigate security incidents to refine detection logic
- Engage with customers to present analysis results and gather feedback
- Tune customer detections to reduce false positives
- Build AI-powered investigation automation tools
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Hands-on incident response experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and identity providers (Okta, Entra ID)
- Strong knowledge of threat actor TTPs
- Experience with log-based analysis across various sources
- Ability to translate research into actionable detections
- Strong communication skills for technical and customer-facing explanations
- Experience with detection engineering at scale
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in SOC or Managed Detection and Response (MDR)
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and SOAR tools
- Customer-facing technical experience
- Experience with AI tools and models
