Security Duty Officer

Responsibilities

• Monitor the implementation of the Airport Security Program, Standard Operation Procedures, and Work Instructions
• Actively participate in emergencies or occurrences threatening airport security or normal operations
• Monitor security personnel attendance and staffing levels at security points
• Take measures to prevent operational disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain continuous communication with the Security Manager and Duty Manager of the security services provider
• Respond to and assist the Police in emergency situations under guidance
• Respond to ID card requests when necessary

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is an asset)
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Aviation Security
• Excellent knowledge of HCAA requirements and procedures
• Previous experience in Airport operations
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Driving License Category B
• Fluency in Greek and English (professional level)
• Fulfilled Military Obligations (if applicable)
