About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of investigations and coordination in response to security breaches or workflow violations
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders during Data Breach incidents
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents, develop preventive measures, and prepare reports for top management
- Analyze client operational processes to identify potential threats and provide recommendations for proactive security improvements
- Verify the security of vendors, software platforms, and third-party services
- Audit new hiring locations for compliance with data protection standards and security tool implementation
- Prepare incident management documentation and procedures and maintain the internal knowledge base
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in information security incident investigation and processing
- Experience in preparing documentation and developing incident management procedures
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to make quick decisions to minimize incident impact
- High level of self-organization and task prioritization skills
- Understanding of personal data protection principles and security breach notification rules
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Fluency in Ukrainian
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using OSINT tools and methods in investigations
- Experience auditing the security of vendors, software platforms, and third-party services
- Basic understanding of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, NGFW, VPN, and VDI
