Security Control Room Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor cameras, alarms, and video equipment including fire, door, and duress alarms
• Dispatch calls via telephone and radio and operate access control technology
• Answer routine and emergency calls and provide assistance to employees and guests
• Maintain records of communications and events
• Use internal and external resources to gather and manage intelligence
• Escalate complaints and critical event information to the Supervisor
• Maintain control of SOC equipment and keys, including logging sign-outs
• Proactively monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs
• Respond to events received over phones and intercoms

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, LEO, corrections, or customer service
• Availability for weekend schedules
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shifts
