Security Control Room Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and coordinate emergency responses
• Report operational matters in real-time to management
• Provide customer service and manage emergency/non-emergency communications via phone and email
• Assist in the supervision of security officers, including payroll and training
• Acknowledge alarms and dispatch personnel as needed
• Compile daily shift reports and statistical data
• Execute emergency SOC protocols and participate in security drills

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in security or customer service
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Ability to acquire and maintain a valid security license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a heavy volume call center or dispatch environment
• Supervisory experience in a security capacity
• Advanced computer proficiency related to physical security needs
