Security Control Room Officer

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist tenants and visitors in a friendly and efficient manner
• Take ownership of the lobby area to ensure cleanliness and comfort
• Act as a primary resource for tenant and visitor inquiries
• Answer internal/external calls and redirect to appropriate contacts
• Assist with deliveries of meals and packages
• Utilize access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems
• Identify all tenants and visitors upon arrival and ensure proper sign-in
• Monitor security cameras within the facility
• Respond to incidents and property emergencies
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people and property
• Provide administrative assistance and support for special projects

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform foot patrols up to 5 miles per shift
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in inclement weather
• Previous customer service experience (e.g., barista, hostess, front desk, receptionist)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, hotel, or restaurant positions
• Bi-lingual skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
