Security Control Assessor Representative

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify recommended enterprise security controls and enhancements for mission assurance
• Provide SME support for RMF activities within eMASS or other designated tools
• Perform technical and operational analyses of supporting artifacts and provide risk recommendations
• Triage authorization, POA&M, System Security Plan, and System Categorization requests
• Review security artifacts to assess technical and functional adequacy of cybersecurity controls
• Perform Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) on NIPRNet and SIPRNet
• Compile Authorization Official packages including risk assessments and required approval documents
• Manage eMASS user accounts and track status of checklists and packages

Requirements

• Current 8140 Cyber Security compliant certification (CCISO, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, CySA+, GSLC, or GSNA)
• 5 to 7 years of related experience
• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Thorough understanding of DoD RMF tool eMASS
• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, IT, or Software Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ports, Protocols, Services Management (PPSM)
