Security Consultant - CIAM

Responsibilities

• Define CIAM strategy, roadmap, and architecture by engaging with business and technology stakeholders
• Design end-to-end CIAM solutions using Microsoft Entra External ID and Entra ID, including HLD and LLD documentation
• Implement authentication flows such as SSO, MFA, and passwordless, as well as identity federation and social identity integration
• Architect secure customer onboarding, profile management, and identity lifecycle workflows
• Integrate CIAM with enterprise platforms including CRM systems, web/mobile applications, and APIs
• Implement security controls including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and risk-based authentication
• Optimize customer experience by designing seamless self-service journeys for registration, login, and password resets
• Lead end-to-end implementation projects and provide technical leadership and documentation to application and DevOps teams

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of overall professional experience, with 1 to 3 years of relevant CIAM experience
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Entra External ID, and Azure AD B2C
• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML
• Proven experience with identity lifecycle management and governance
• Proficiency in working with REST APIs and Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL)
• Experience integrating identity solutions with microservices and mobile applications

Preferred Qualifications

• BE / B Tech / B Sc in Computer Science or a related field
• Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
• Experience managing large-scale CIAM deployments serving millions of users
• Prior experience with multi-cloud or hybrid IAM environments
• Exposure to DevSecOps and automation pipelines
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and data privacy regulations like GDPR
