Security Commercial Offerings System Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and maintain integrated fire and security systems for commercial customers onsite
• Dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by customer specifications
• Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures
• Test system operation to the signal-receiving center to establish service
• Read and interpret building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints
• Coordinate installations with police and fire departments and manage necessary emergency call notifications
• Prepare installation estimates following supervisor directions
• Manage installation teams on larger projects and mentor less experienced installers
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace, ensuring all debris is removed after installation

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic equipment
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Proficiency in operating hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a fleet vehicle safely
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service
