Security Commercial Offerings System Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and maintain integrated commercial fire and security systems
• Dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by customer specifications
• Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures
• Test system operation with signal-receiving centers to establish service
• Read and interpret building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints
• Coordinate installations with local police and fire departments
• Prepare installation estimates and manage onsite teams for larger projects
• Maintain a safe work environment and clean up installation debris

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic equipment
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Proficiency in operating hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate fleet vehicles safely
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service
