Security CCTV Controller

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CCTV systems, including Eocortex & Axis, to ensure continuous observation
• Detect and analyze suspicious activities or security breaches through surveillance cameras
• Respond promptly to security incidents and coordinate with security personnel and emergency responders
• Contact emergency providers and relevant authorities as needed
• Conduct regular checks on surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and monitoring systems
• Maintain detailed incident logs and generate accurate reports for management

Requirements

• Minimum PSIRA grade C security qualification
• 2 years of control room experience
• 2 years of CCTV experience
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English
• Ability to work night shifts (17h00 to 05h00)
• Must reside in Somerset-West, Strand, or Stellenbosch area
• Must have own transport (especially if residing in Eersteriver)
• Ability to make split-second decisions under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Eocortex & Axis systems
